IH 37 Baler close to trying out.

Hello, I bought an old IH 37 Baler a couple of years ago. It looked like it had been sitting under a tree for a spell. I have been tinkering with it. I put all new pickup tines in , bought a new belt for auger , replaced pin in the pickup reel, replaced the old twine knives with newer style blade type. I lubed everything up and threaded it last night ( about midnight)and spun it over by hand. The twine knives didn't want to cut, so I shimmed them. Then one knot wouldn't slip off the birdbill, so I backed the tension off on the spring. Now it seems to be doing its thing. A good knot with a 1/2" loop. I was going to try it out on some hay in the shed but it rained today (finally). Thanks to everyone for their advice on this forum. I can't wait to try it out!!
