Was offered a decent 3 inch by 16 foot auger, with motor, used and sitting in a stable. Good shape. Also, an Allied bale elevator, 2 sections(one is a proper end piece, other has a homemade end) with motor. Good shape. They told me to make them an offer. I have a number in mind, but would like to hear some other suggestions. Thanks , Kent.

I n my area they would have to be free to just get them off the place,or scrap price at best. If you have a use for them then they have some value to you otherwise they not worth much here period.

Thanks RickL. Offered them $100.00. The farmer died in his combine 2 years ago. The family is just trying to settle up the sale of the farm equipment. He was trying to dislodge some frozen corn in the bin one morning, and it got his leg. Bled to death , in the cab before help arrived.

That"s to bad.

Auger would be $25 on an auction sale "here", hay ele would be $25-100 depending on condition, think everyone should be happy with the price.

At recent auctions hay elevators in the 16'- 24' range went for $100 - $300 longer ones on wheels went for $200 - $500 . 3" augers can't be given away so $100 for both sounds fair for this area . ...Randy
