Anyone got a good source for replacement blades for a Krause disk? 18"x 1.5"round hole

Sounds small? Is that on the older 10-12 ft.? Try some of the aftermarket farm supply dealers as they were able to get discs for our Krause 20 ft. or try shoupparts.com sloanex.com or dealers for TISCO at woodsonline.com or aiproducts.com

Thanks Glen! Sloanex was exactly what I was loking for. Yes it is an older unit. The 12' heavy weight.

Glad you found what you needed. Are you sure the original disks were only 18" when new? The only reason I am asking is that a 1.5" center hole is pretty large for an 18" blade. I would think that most disks with 18" blades have an axle size between 1-1.25".

Yea I'm sure. This is Krause's heavy duty disk. I don'tknow what the weight per blade is but it is enough to put it in the ground. And makes my little 85hp tractor bark. :) When I got it the front gangs were worn, dull and some blades chipped. and it still cuts in pretty good, but the dull blades just don't cut trash as well as I would like. A new 12' sunflower is over $1000 a foot so a few hundred spent on this one seems the right choice.

The right choice for sure!

How thick were the old blades, I would guess like 7 gauge, but maybe more or less? Were you able to get the replacements of the same thickness as what was on it?
