I am looking for a mid-mount/front blade for Farmall Super A, or any information about the model number or when they were manufacutured. I saw a picture of one in a 1953 Super A sales book. But have never seen one in person. Thanks for any information!

I am responding to your blade question,,international produced a mid and front mount blade for your a. It is a model 60 grader and leveling blade. I own one and it is mounted on a farmall 100 1956 vintage. I have hydralic so theres down pressure on it. I have a manual for it and they show a100 and a A. it fits both and can be used in front or behind the front axel. Also they show a non hydralic hook up option. good luck in finding one mine works well.

I do have pictures of the blade mounted front & mid on the Cub & Super A, and also a parts breakdown for the blade. If these will help e-mail me and I'll send pics to you. now if I can get this to post?? Tried the other day but it didn't post for me, it must still be floating out there somewhere? Wesley

Michael;

I'd be interested to. I just purchased a '49 Cub with the 54A belly leveler/grader blade. Looking in the image archieves I noticed a front mounted blade which looks similar to the 54A. I possed that question and was advised that it will fit but with different mounting hdwr.

I also have a Super A, thought I could mount that 54A belly-wise since it is smaller, just need to make some mounting hdwr.

Good Luck, Let me know how it works out.

Bob
