Changing corn planting width????

Does anyone know of any of the older corn planters that can be narrowed up to, plant around 24" rows????

28" is as narrow as I know any will go and John Deere has several that will do that. You might find unit style tool bar blanters that will go down to that but I am not familar with any of those so I can't help you there other that to say the Ferguson Massey-Ferguson unit planter will not go that narrow, an Allis tool bar may be a good place to start

The John Deere that can be narrowed to 28" are 290, 246, 446, 494, 494A, 1200 series 4 row, don't know about the 6 or 8 rows. But they require the small straight sided seed boxes on most, other planters I do not know numbers of
