With any luck, I'm going to start discing and plowing next week for the first time. I'm only doing an acre or so garden area and another acre or so where I'm trying to re-generate soil. Any suggestions as far as speed and depth or anything else I'm missing?

I do a two acre deer food plot each year. The first year I plowed it, I set the 2 bottom plow as deep as I could get it. It will probably try to ride up out of the ground anyway, especially if the land has been idle for a number of years. Hope you don't plow up a bunch of roots! Good luck.
