Watched a fellow along the road on the way to town. He was out there with a big heavy disc and a White tractor. I thought he was trying to work it down for fall wheat. Anyway, he had the nicest field of alfalfa in the county.

Think I'm gonna take this joker out there and give it the once over. When I was a boy, we used to use those old John Deere 12' drag springtooth harrows to reclaim the crop in it's last season or two.

Is that a moridge? Is it yours? We've got one that we bought at auction a few years ago. It's a great machine, only we can't find replacement teeth to bolt onto the round pipes. Got any leads?

Yours almost looks like it has square tubing, but everything else looks the same. Those wing supports on ours got replaced by chains a while back becuase they got the duals treatment....

I thought it was a Noble, but the salesman wrote "Kent" on the sales slip.

I'm not familiar enough with 'em to know, but there is one settin' in every yard in this country.

New teeth run in at $40 a pop, they tell me.
