You ready to go? I might have jumped the gun a bit, but I'm ready to see what this old tractor has got. Ever since I've been old enough to drive this has been a chore tractor, so now I'll give it a chance to shine. Too bad it is raining right now.

Ya may want to shine up them bottoms with a sanding disc before ya hit the fields over here in this ground you would have to stop and clean them off every few feet or you would have the soil a foot thick stuck to the bottoms . BTDT. ain't no fun scrapen bottoms . Now when we are done with the plow for the season i use some cheap spray paint and spray the faces of the moldboards and when it is time to go back at it in twenty feet they are all nice and shinney.

It won't take long here to shine those up. My dad bought this plow new many moons ago, and it hasn't been used much, we don't plow much anymore, but it was used every season for quite a few years without the bottoms being painted, I'm not worried. If I can't get it to go I'll use your advice and clean em up. We'll find out Monday

How you gonna get that there plow hooked up, the hitch is straight up and down. Have ta turn the tractor on its side to hook up that there jd plow.

I hate it when that happens!

It's so darned hard to back up straight with the tractor laying on it's side and all.

First ya gotta remember to hold the brake of the tire that is up in the air, not to mention, it's so darned hard to keep from falling out of the seat when yer settin' sideways like that.

So, I always try to pick a day that the wind isn't blowing quite so hard before I unhitch the plow, so this won't happen. :>)

Now that's what a tractor pull should be all about . I'd like to see some of those rich boys dragsters with tractor tires on the rear , go work the fields , drag a manure spreader in the fields . Have fun guys . Hope ya have a great crop . God Bless , Ken

I might hook 'er up tomorrow. It was 73 here today and I've still got 3 foot drifts at the endrows.

Couple of days yet, I'm thinkin'. :>)

I don't have much for pictures of the tractor. Just a 4020 my dad farmed with for quite a few years. I fixed all the little things, and now I'm going to do some work with it before I paint it, incase something else needs fixing. Its a syncro range, side console, and runs great.
