Does anyone know anything about a Neimier power harrow? Have a chance to buy one cheap, but it's 1000 rpm and my 1850 is 540. Can it be switched over to 540? I know on older JD stalk choppers you could change 2 gears around in gearbox and switch rpm. Would like to do a few small jobs with it and can't afford to buy 2 speed pto for 1850. Are parts still available if any are needed? Thanks in advance, Chris

Hi, Jon. It's a 10 foot model. I thought it would be good to tear up some of my yard to reseed. Could back into tight spots that you can't get to with disk or other pull type equipment. There was a Duetz dealer in Blue Grass Ia. in the 70's that sold them and he has been gone a long time. I thought about changing pto knuckle and using it on 540, but would probably turn too slow to do any good. Thanks, Chris

Have not seen one in 20 years. Where are you located? If this harrow is good size I would rethink this 1000 RPM thing. Questions, you know you can find me on the Oliver or HPOCA form. J.
