Does anyone have any comments on a Gehl 1400 Round Baler good or bad? What would one be worth in good condition?
Thanks for your help. DJ

Not familar with the 1400 but I assume its the smaller bale version of the 1500.

If it is does it have the 6" or 4" belts?

The 6" belts where far better than the 4" belts.

The 4" belts were hard to start a bale without the outside belt dropping under the bale.

For your own use and if you are not trying to get a real tight bale they are OK mechanically

If you can find wider belts, just cut out every other guide when it's time to rebelt, and put the bigger ones in.
