I am in need of a chipper to run behind a Ford 8n(27hp.). I have been considering a DR or a made in china one from a Jinma dealer. Does any body have any experience with these? Know of any good used ones for sale?

I bought the DR Chipper model that runs off of the PTO. So far, I am impressed with it. I do not think you would be happy with this unit if it were to be used commercially, but if you are clearing some brush along a path, or grinding stuff up in the yard, you will like this model. The vibration on your hands is great, but the unit grinds stuff up very well. You want to make sure you do not have any debris in the grinder when you turn the unit off, as it can get lodged in the blade when you try to restart the unit and it will eat the belt. Other than that, I have not had any problems.
