Old implement - great story

I pulled an old 2 row turning plow out of the weeds at my wife"s 92 year old grandfathers. It has an air up tire at the rear with wheel weights on both sides of the wheel and 2-24" round disc in front of it. It appears to have hooked rigidly to the rear of an old type tractor or up under it somehow. I took this hitch off by unbolting it and fixed it where I could hook it to my lower lift arms on my IH364. You set the depth by a hand lever at the rear wheel. My wife"s grandfather never used this plow but says it is VERY old. It worked great. He had me tear down a terrace in his field that was about 200" long and it made short work of this quick. It surprised me as it did not put much of a load at all on my little 40hp IH364 yet it turned TONS of dirt as you pulled it. I wonder what brand implement this is and what it was designed to fit? Any ideas?

I found a picture of the exact plow I have in the implement photo section. I have an IH 151 Disc Plow... It is great and will do tons of work as I have modified it to pull behind my IH364 diesel. See the photo of this implement posted by Roger in implement photo section.

You describing a disk plow? This in Nebraska or Dakotas? 2-24 disk would be a very small plow now, in 30s would be for a B JD, F14 or so, F20s shown with 3 disk units. Disks were a conservation type plow for dust bowl, lower power needed compared to moldboard, considered safer unit if worried about hitting rocks or stumps. Check posting/picture from Shep Fl(?) for a 3 disk unit he was using on a Oliver S55. RN

I am pretty sure Case had a disk plow, but I don't know what years it was made. Could you post a couple of Pictures? What kind of hitch does it have? All the tractor companies had there own version of hitches back then.

Ours looks just like that except it has the rubber tire with wheel weights as an option. Also, we still have the original hitch mechanism that will bolt it to a Super A. I took it off and saved it and made some brackets similar to what is on yours to put hitch pins in to use behind our IH364. Do you have the original hitch to yours? What's a disc plow like this worth with all the equipment on it and working well? Do you currently pull yours with a bigger diesel tractor and use it regularly?
