Well I guess it is Re:??Value of eversman landplan in reply to georgeOre, 03-17-2006 12:49:24
Well I guess it is worth from, what I gather here, somewhere between $25.00 to $4000. now in there somewhere, i must be able to buy this thing. :((
Keep me posted if anyone else sees one sell for how much.
This one has air tires not the old steel wheels. But must have been made in the 50s cause is so small. Any farmer these days, worth his nitrogen wouldn't even head for the back 1000 without at least 250HP 8 wheel drive a 25 footer with a GPS and with laser right!
Thanks

Here in the Thumb of Michigan a good one will bring $3000 - $4000. Beet farmers use them.

george, Looked at a 10 ft JD- Camelback landplane, while back in the middle of the Texas Panhandle. (A JD is an Eversman clone as we all know). Plainview, Tx area, the equipment jockey wanted $4000 for it. and it needed a ton of welding. Go figure! I thought $1000 would have been twice too high. Good luck.
Later,
John A.

Think this is another item that depends on location and demand. A 10 ft. wouldn't hardly bring anything here, like $25-100 ? Use to be lots of Eversman around. Out here in flat country everyone wants one of those dual blade 24 ft. ones made from well casing cut in half for a blade and with square tube hitch and dual wheels and they bring $1500 - $2000. I still got a 12 ft. Farmhand land plane wouldn't sell because it's my road grader.

Hey now. I still do, quite a bit too. Near 300 acres of it in that fashion. Its cheaper than running pumps and sprinklers.

Torrington, which is in eastern Wyoming. Only about 20 miles from the Nebraska border. About 80 miles north of Cheyenne. Along the banks of the North Platte river which is where we get our irrigation water.

I'm not in that business. I only played with sugar beets one year when I was pretty young and then my dad decided he was tired of sugar beets. Sold the equipment and got out of that business. David

Hi George,

Ought to easy bring $800 to $1500 hadn't it?

'Course if you're standing at the right auction, might pick one up fer $25 too.

Who knows? Depends if you're selling, buying or right out desperate to own one with planting season right around the corner.

Allan
