Does anyone know The year the JD 14T was manufactured? Serial # 54942

Also, approximately what it is worth?

The 14T was made some where around 1956-1960 give or take a few years. Good old balers when they are working right. I have never payed more them $400 for a 14T and I have had 4 of them in the past. Last one I got which was last summer was $125

I don't know if archival info of that nature exists for these. I can tell you it is not worth much. In REALLY good shape and operating you might get close to a grand for it. Lot of these and the 24T balers out there. Really good balers for a small operator who does not mind lower volume. You will have no trouble selling it. We have two 224T (newer, heavier duty) and like them a lot. $900 for the best of the two.
