Can anyone tell me the model number for the FarmHand 8 Square accumilator? I have found one a couple hundred miles away but the lady says she dont know and just come look. The Manual she has is for a MDL F100 D. Is that the square or the long narrow arrangement?? Thanks

Bob, I'm not sure what you are referring to as "the long narrow arrangement". I have never seen a Farmhand square bale accumulator in that arrangement and I have looked a dozens but, I'm open minded.
I have an 8 bale Farmhand accumulator but I don't know the model as I have been unable to locate a manual. I have used it for several years and it is not difficult to operate even though I'd like to have a manual. I'll try to look at it tomorrow and get the model number for you...Good Luck....

Bob The two models I have seen are the 8 bale square from the accumulator, with hydralic operation. That one has wheels under it. The other was long and narrow, still 8 bale, but skidded on the ground (no wheels) just a large steel plate that laid them in two long rows. Appreciate it if you find a model number. If I get this one and a manual, I could probably help you out too. Bob

Bob, I was unable to read the model number on mine but if you want you can go to (ironsearch.com) and look under "accumulator" and "Farmhand" and there is one identical to mine. You might call the dealer and get the model number from them. Their price isn't bad either but it didn't say if the 8 bale grab was included in the price.
You also need a baler that is capable of making uniform bales as this is critical to the operation of the accumulator. If there is a manual with the one you are looking at you may want to read quickly through it prior to purchase. With an 8 bale grab or forks these things are hard to beat and take a lot of the sweat out of putting up hay. Its the only way to go with small square bales. Good luck..Bob
