This weekend I checked out the new Fleet Farm up here in Appleton (corp. HQ). It is HUGE!!!!! ! it's the largest retail store in the state, about 1/2 again as a W-M super center!!!! I checked it out twice this weekend and MAN, They've really got a lot of stuff in there!! Way better than TSC ever was or will be, and they actually stock what a guy needs.

Yeah, you are referring to Mills Fleet Farm, the best farm store there is. I live in Iowa and make it a point to drive 2 hours north to MN every few months so I can hit the closest one to me and get everything on the "shopping list" I accumulate. I sure wish they would expand farther south into central Iowa.

I guess I'm lucky, I go to the tech school about 2 blocks away, stop in sometimes before I go to work. Flat tire? No problem!! drop it off and get a new one mounted and pick it up the next day. Still an American made tire as opposed to the chinese tire our local tire store sells (never sells the same brand for more than a year)

We buy everything there. Barn lime, twine, udder wash/teat dip, barn soaps, calf feed mix, work jeans, anything and everything you can imagine in between too. I go atleast once a month, ussually twice or more.

We've had one in town here(Green Bay, WI)for about 35+ years. They remain a major supplier for all farmers for miles around. It's quite common to see people there from towns 130+ miles north, etc. A very fine store. Glenn F.

I am also in Green Bay but once lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I lived just over 100 mi. from Fleet Farm and that was a twice a year vacation for my dad and I. There was just no store that has as much for farmers (full time or hobby) as that store.

I read in the newspaper that the new Fleet Farm is the largest retail store in the Fox Valley (Green Bay to Oshkosh). It is supposed to have over 250,000 sq ft of room with a supercenter Wal Mart only being about 200,000 sq ft. I haven't checked it out yet but I am sure that I will have to.
