Please ignore the previous posting...Wrong model #
I have a JD 894A rake which is in need of the splined hub that connects the the 2 rear axels. Does any one have a good used or new one they would want to sell ? It is 1 1/2 inch 6 spline looks like it is a casting. Casting # is G538E

Phil, I don't have your hub but I do have some almost like new manuals yet for the 890 series rakes. Just a thought but if you can't find the hub used or new from JD you might try and industrial bearing place and get a similar hub coupler or sleeve coupler or might even have to change the shaft to just use a keyed coupler. We had a JD 850 series rake and when gearbox busted we got rid of that mess and axle and just put a hydraulic motor on from a old combine reel and straight axle using some old plow wheel hubs.

Are willing to sell the book? Is this an operators manual or parts manual?
