My brother has a garden cultivator (pushed by hand) which has a corn planter attachment. It has Iron Age cast on the lid of the corn hopper. Also, he has an Iron Age/Farhquar one row potato digger run off of tractor pto, but no hydraulic lift - you have to get off of the tractor and set the depth of the digger shovel. We would like to restore both items and are wondering about paint color and decals. Can anyone out there help us?

Well this is a tough one. I found the machine in my book but it's in black and white. I do know that both these companies were brought into the same ownership when Oliver bought them out but continued with the Iron Age name on their spraying equipment. The other company was the start of the oliver baling equipment. You may want to check with the Floyd County museum in Iowa. They may have some archives. It's just a thought. You can do a search on the museum and it should get you to the site.
