IH 150 Drill

Can anyone tell me anything about an IH 150 drill? Tbere is one here for sale locally for $800. It has 3 seperate compartments. 1 small in front, the main large one in the middle, and a medium sized one in the rear.

Are parts still available for them?

Look for a tray under the grass box on hinges.
Some drills just dribble grass onto the ground then cover it with packerwheels or chains. Most grass doesn't want to be planted very deep.

Some drills just dribble grass onto the ground then cover it with packerwheels or chains. Most grass doesn't want to be planted very deep.

OK, from what I have read on other posts is that the extra boxes are for grass and fertilizer. This is a hoe type drill I guess. There are no tubes on the grass box, but I can see where they are supposed to be routed. They should be dropping the seed just be hind the shovels, but in front of the packer wheels.

Would this machine work ok for planting grasses for pasture/hay?

(p.s. I am very green when it comes to this)
