I decided that I was sick of piling the manure so I got the 285 started and hooked it onto the spreader, loaded it up and went to the feild. I got a little too far in the drift and the spreader behind me got hung up on the snow, leaving my tires just spinning. I called back home for help and my dad came to rescue me w/ the 165. At first the tires would just dig in even w/ the chains on, but we traded spots and I worked the loader just a little bit, got it right out. I guess that and the 3 skunks I've smelt in the last 2 days means it almost SPRING!!!

Not much snow here, just mud and some frozen ground. Got my 1105 stuck a couple weeks ago just trying to feed round bales.

#1 rule in snow coutry is "carry a scoop shovel" Glad you are feeling spring-like. It's sure been nice here the last few days and the bossies will soon be thinking about lying down and giving birth again. Oh, and yeah, the grasshoppers are back. No mud here

Yeah - been nice here in the SE corner of Nebraska, too! FINALLY got a LITTLE drizzle, but not enough to cut the dust. Except for the wind, it's been good fencing weather.
