I recently bought a Ford dirt scoop. The ID plate indicates it is a "Series 706" and "Component 19-142". It also has a serial number of 7849.

It needs some repair and I'm curious if anyone has a Ford bulletin covering this unit. Secondly, I would be interested in knowing where these were made, by whom (I assume subcontracted by Ford), and when.

The N-Newsletter has the 706 manual in their archives. It is located near the bottom of the loaders section. It is dated Nov '58
