Value of JD 5 bottom semi mount plow

I need to know the value of a JD semi mount 5 bottom plow. It is in decent shape. I believe it is a 1350 or a 1450 after looking at a picture of one on Ebay like it. I also would like to know the value of a JD three bottom hydraulic lift plow (like the trip plows but with hydraulics) on rubber, and a John Deere 3pt chisel plow (probably 11-12 ft). There is also a CC cultivator on rubber that I am curious about.
I appreciate any help any of you can give to me.

5-bottom plow would go $150 - 300 locally, closer to the low end. They don't handle cornstalks any more.

The 3 bottom, collectors could bid that to $600, tho $400 is more like it. Worth more than the semi mount tho.

A 12 foot cultivator goes for scrap metal, or $100 if there are 2 actually looking for one.

Location is everything, no demand for that stuff where I am.

Location, location, location. Here in southern Wisconsin, plows bring scrap value. I've been trying to sell a 345 4-16 plow for a couple years. Last time I offered it, I asked $150 and recieved no calls. This week, I'm taking the good moldboards and coulters off and scrapping the rest. The newer ones such as a 2500 or 2600 5 or 6-18 will still bring right around a grand and rollovers bring more than that. The little Deere collectable trailer plows consistantly bring 350 dollars at any auction I've attended to buy one. Anytime I've called a local ad, the seller wants up to $700.

That is not the plow I expected to see. Value of that plow is around $500, and could be less in our area. I'll stand pat on the chisel plow.

What model of JD plow would this be? I appreciate your help and everyone elses help that replied. What do you mean by stand pat on the chisel plow? You mean it only worth scrap price right, or do you think it worth a little more?

I haven't been on lately, so sorry I didn't answer earlier. Yes, the 3pt chisel isn't worth much more than scrap price. I thought the 1350, 1450 had the big box frame similar to the later model 2500. Your's looks more like the previous model 145A. I looked but couldn't find any photographs to make sure I'm correct. They are here somewhere, but "where" is the $64 question. Regardless of the model number, the big box frame gives more trash clearance which is increases demand. I don't believe your plow has the desired extra clearance which significantly lowers it's value. My guess is less than $500.

Thanks for your replies. It is greatly appreciated. I think that from what I have heard I will offer him 150-200 for everything except the plow and the chisel due to not having a way to move them and them not being worth anything. This chance gives me a great headstart at my dream of farming my own land since I could be getting so many good pieces of equipment for little cash (larger farmer is wanting to get rid of his "junk (small equipment)"). Maybe I am nut for trying to start farming, but I am going to try one way or the other.

The JD models 1350 and 1450 seem to sell a little better somewhere in the range of $1500. The only problem is with that new of a plow, it could be too small for most folks. I've seen 3 bottom JD pull plows go for $400 and up. They are in demand for plow days. The 3pt chisel plow is worth little more than scrap. The CC cultivator may surprise you. Only worth scrap price a few year ago, but now they are being restored and displayed along with the tractors. My guess would be $300+ if in decent shape and a JD collector is interested.

Bought a 620 3 bottom late style last year for my Super M-$300.Another like it recently sold in a sale at Fowler, Indiana---$700.Think it may have had the large tail wheel.Late model JD 3 bottoms are kind of hard to find.Seems like everybody wants them for plow days.

5-bottom semi-s around here are in the range of $250-$600 for an good set (no auto reset or adjusta-width).
