How hard is it to tighten the canvas on these old girls? Do any of you have any short cuts or techniques? The manual is kind of vage it seems to me. Thanks in advance....

Not to hard to do just takes some time. Try to get it as even as possible. If it has been sitting it doesnt take to much stuff under the canvas to make it hard to get started turning but once it rolls around it will be ok. bill

Loosen the spring tightners at the bottom of main canvas and put a bar so as to push the springs back as far as you can. Then tighten the canvas as tight as you can.
