I got an old JD two row horse drawn planter that has a tractor hitch on it. I am wanting to fix it to operating condition and also repaint it too. I was wondering if there were decals on it or not. I am wanting to put atleast JD emblems on the seed canisters. Any iformation is appriciated.

Is this similar to your new planter? Looks to only have "999" on each seed box for decals.

The 999 planter was made in either a horse drawn or tractor drawn model, the earlier 9 or 99 planters were only horse and they did not have decals but what was called silk skreening painted on them on the boxes and not sure how much else

Thanks, that looks pretty close to it as far as I can tell. Will know more once I get it pulled out of the barn and junk.

Try looking at Deere 999 planter parts catalog as that is probably the planter you have.
