A few years back a friend of mine bought a farm. Left behind in the brush, was an old disc with traces of green paint on it. I know it is an AC because it has a snap coupler draw loop. Did the snap coupler system go back that many years? If so, does anyone know what year this was made?

Thanks for the info Tim. I did not know that anyone besides AC made an implement compatable with the snap coupler draw system. I still wonder what time frame this falls in.

I think the first snap coupler was the WD tractor in I think 1949 thru the end of D17 production somewhere about 1970. The Serial no page can give you the exact years for those tractors.

Could it be an Athens disk? They were green. A-C and Athens Plow Company had a handshake-type agreement where Athens made some implements for A-C"s Snap-Coupler tractors in the "50s.
