What is a good replacement motor for a twin cyl wisconsin on our old 14T?How much HP would it take?Thanks in advance.

Two cyl Wisconsins were usually about 18hp.

I know Horse power is horse power, but I just wonder if an 18 hp Kohler Command or a 19 hp Kawasaki could do the same job the old Wisconsin did. I bet the Wisconsin had lots more torque.

you would need at least a 25 horse to equal as the new engines are designed to run about 1 1/2 times as fast
