Found a used rear grader blade 9" wide. Guy says it weighs around 1300lbs. Can my Oliver 1855 98hp handle this? Appreciate all opinions. Looking for a blade I can pickup within 200mile of KC.

Thanks!

My nh 7610s 90hp tractor totes a 2500# 10' 3pt mower with -0- problems.. I do have a couple hundred pounds up front.

My 5000 with a couple hundred up front will also tote it.. though if you lift it high and hit a bump.. you know about it..

with a littel ft. weight like Ia gary said it will be fine and you should not ever break it it should stop the tractor before something happened , not like them wimmpy Elcheepos that fold up like a accordainat the first fist size stone or large dirt clump.

With some front weight it should be OK. I know it would handle my big round bales and they weight 1300 lbs. I've run a 1500+ lb Big Ox blade on my brothers 100hp 856 with a loader for counter weight.
