Hey to all,I've got a 309 Ford planter and parts people say the parts i need are discontinued.Anyone know a source to get parts,sure hate to junk it.Need mainly the seed openers for two row planter.Thank's Billy.

billy , i think some of the ford corn planters were built by bridger in arkansas who a ford dealer i might not remember this stuff right as i set this stuff up in mid 70's for a ford dealer boss dad had one planted corn for seed corn with it . if you can find old time ford dealer maybe they could help you

I don't know if this will help or not but I think that the Ford planters were built by Burch. I think that they are still in business. You can try a dealer that sells Burch or can get parts for them from aftermarket suppliers. Good luck.

but maybe a Dempster design. Agri-Supply had Ford runner openers listed last year. If you have disk openers, they could probably match up disks and bearings, but the other parts would still be a problem. Local dealer is telling me that corporate management is dumping all parts support for anything out of production for more than 20 years, not just the old Ford stuff, but older New Holland, too. Idea is it will force people to buy more new stuff?????
