My father-in-law picked up some plows at an auction. Upon cleaning up this one particular plow he found writing on the plow. Deere & Co. 1837 and some other writing. I believe he researched what he could and found that it was the 34th one made. If anyone could give any input on the rarity of this find and if it would perhaps have any value to it. If someone has a good research website other than this that would be helpful also.

I will try to get a picture of this plow, but he isn"t interested in selling at this time. I just wanted to know how rare of a find this is and if so what it could be worth. Thanks for your interest.

with out seeing the design and knowing the type of metal it is hard to tell, I would think that that both machinery and tractor collectors would be interested in it. deere's partner andrus put his name in a cast plow but it does not have same collector appeal that the deere plow would, even through it is the same time period.
