when were the return apron manure spreader sold this one looks similar to a kemp, except it does not have an endless chain. on the return apron the front end gate slides back with the wood slat floor which slides onto rails under the spreader when unloaded it is reversed so the floor goes back to the top and the endgate to the front. any help as to age or kind.

The IHC Corn King had a reverse or half apron. It came in an early wood frame and then a steel frame version. I have the steel Corn King. On mine after the floor and "second headboard" get to the back of the box, you step on a pedal under the seat to disengage it so you can crank it back up to the front. Can you email me a picture? Do you own this one or looking at it? I may be able to ID it with some photos. Bob
