OK - I want to move this back to the top since I now have more information. I was off-line all last week and am jsut now getting back.

The disk is for sale or trade posted on the implement section of the photo ads. I think I posted it on the 15th or so.

It is a JD model JB 7' drag behind disk. I need the left front bearing housing as the one on it is cracked. I could get it welded, but would rather find a used or new one. Anyone know where I can get something like that?

Also, I'd like to trade this disk for a 5' that fits on my trailer without taking the sections apart.

Sorry to be so slow in getting back to you. I checked my parts manual for the J-series (both JB & JBA) disks. My local John Deere parts man did the cross checking for me and found the subs and prices. The J-series use part number KK4788BW for the upper half of the left front bearing and part number KK4790 for the lower half. They are still available in the John Deere parts system with KK4788BW costing $44.75 and KK4790BW at $33.75. I hope this helps.
