I have been giving two disk tillers one with all steel wheels and one with rubber tires. I was wanting to find out who makes these plows. The one with steel wheels has some green paint making me think its a John Deere. But can not find John Deere on it. Where will it be located on the disk tiller.

The tricky thing about paint is that it fits all shapes, so it might not be a good indication of origin. If the tiller in question doesn't have some obvious John Deere marking, look for a small raised siamesed J and D near a casting number. The casting numbers should have a suffix "A" on many of them meaning they came from John Deere Plow Works factory. If you can post a picture that would help too.
