I was given a MF 41 dynabalance mower. The bearings in the dyna box on the main shaft all need replaced. I was going to repair the mower until I found out it was about $200 to get all the bearings. Also, the cam for the balance is loose it turns and slides both. I thought maybe I could weld to the shaft. Should I waste my time and money fixing the mower or look to replace it. Any feedback that anyone can give me would be appreciated

If you can get the bearings out and take them to a bearing supply house they may be able to get you proper bearings at much less cost. Worth a try.

Hi Gregg Is this a Massey Ferguson or a Ferguson mower. If its a Ferguson its a rare one. Even at that given the price of a new one id fix it but then i like to repair stuff. There is little to no vibration with one of these not like one with a pitman on it. Good Luck Lester
