I have been watching fencerows for used equipment lately and came across a NH 276 Hayliner. I have always heard good things about the NH balers so I stopped to ask about it. Well no one was home so I decided I'd stop back later. Anyway I just wanted to know what a good price is for a baler like this, doesn't appear to have been used for a while and the sheetmetal has surface rust, otherwise looks decent.
Thanks
Adam Davis

If its been out side for any lenth of time its a parts machine by now.
Out side is real bad for the life of a baler.

I bought a 276 last year and a half ago in pretty nice shape and always sat in the neighbors shed for $800. I saw one sell this past spring that had seen lots better days and it sold for $2800 at a farm auction.

I bought a 270 about five years ago at an auction and paid $550. Have had real good luck with it baling around 1000 bales a year.

Wife bought a 268 Hayliner for $750 a year or so ago. Was scruffy, but in good mechanical condition. Has baled a couple seasons - ~3000 bales with minimal failures. Am satisfied with her purchase.
