How many bales does it take to remove all the paint from the walls of a new round baler?

Just trying to get an idea of usage on a used baler.

It also depends on the operator and if they are filling the bale chamber up when they are baling. If you make bales that are uniformly fed on all sides as well as the middle the side walls won't have enough hay rubbing against them to wear off the paint.

It really depends on the hay. I saw a baler this winter that had baled 2000 bales of coastal bermuda this year and had just started to wear the paint in spots. Tougher crops such as corn stalks and peanut hay will wear the paint much faster.
