I'm a Dad with a small Beef operation and my help is growing up and moving out. Question, would these things be able to unroll a straw roll bale under a loafing shed wit some degree of sucess?

Stand the bales on end and just pull some off with a pitch fork. I have round hay bales in the barn and I just tear some off and throw it down the hole. They are sitting with the round side down and it doesnt work as well.

My neighbor has one that mounts on the three point and has a hydraulic motor that rotates the bale. You could back that into a shed and unroll it in a pile.

link show picture of unroller we built several years ago here at school. made or sold the drawings to over 35 of them and never had a complaint. rolls it out just like a layer of carpet. look online for farmshow magazine and search for hay unroller cullman area career center and read the story. also copy/paste the link below here and see another picture of it in action.
