Does anyone know the difference between a UM-4 and a UM-5 mower? Mostly would like to know when the UM-4 or UM-5 was built? I have a manual for a UM-4 and a mower I was told was a UM-5 but can"t see any difference between the manual and my mower. The UM-4 was available with either steel or rubber wheels. Thanks-Merry Christmas

You wouldn't consider selling a copy of that manual. I have a um4 mower and have been trying to find a copy of it for quite a while with no luck. You can email me at [email protected]. Thanks

Not an expert but I hink the UM-5 was built in the 40s and 50s for the U. Just my guess

The manual I have shows mounting the UM-4 to a JT, R, Z, U, and other makes like McCormick 10-20 or F-12 etc.
