My Dad bought a tandem disk many years ago for his Ford 2N. A few years back, I went through it, put new hard maple boxings in and even painted the thing Ford "Blue".

It is in good shape, only got used preparing the garden for a few years. Any opinions on what it might be worth, I know it is a bit off-season for disking in MN at the moment!!

Thanks duey

Duey,
Your disc is worth 250-400 if its in really good shape. I think you'd be better off trying to sell it next spring when its gardening time...

I live in CA bu the disk is in Eastern MN, north of Hinckley.

I don't have a picture of it at the moment. My mother is going to sell the disk, a scoop, a cultivator, a cordwood saw, corkscrew wood splitter, a plow and a back blade. (The tractor is mine, & I'm keeping it.)

I'll try to post a picture or two when I get home for a visit.\\\

Thanks for the replies. duey

You didn't mention the width, but I'll guess 5 feet give or take.

As someone said, it could be worth $400, but will depend on how long you are willing to shop it around. Probably bring $200 or so if you put it on auction or want to be rid of it & not play around. This time of year, maybe $150.

Sorry, I thought about that too late.... I would say it is 6 foot wide. It fully covers the tractor tracks.

It will probably keep until spring...Mom has the farm for sale, though.

One in very good shape will bring 500.00 around here. N Missouri, you should just buy all of the equ. from your Mom and keep it with the tractor.
