We found an old Hardie sprayer and we would like to save it from the scrap yard. I posted two pics of it under "Help identify" (in the left hand column).It has a wooden tank and 3 cylinder reciprocating PTO driven pump. Can anyone give a model number. Approx. year built? Are parts still available? For what type of spray work were these machines used in the USA? Thanks, Hendrik from The Netherlands.

We had two hardie"s at the apple orchard i worked at 80s-90s and they had been at that farm since probably the 50s or 60s. One was a 300 gal and one was 200 gal. Both metal tanks. The 300 gal was a real pain since you had to dive head first into the tank to clean it sometimes (we used pond water and the pump screen didnt always catch everything). Dont know of any parts sources however.
