Ford mounted corn picker question

I am attempting to hookup a ford cornpicker, not sure the model but it is the "blue" one, not the red. Everything is attached and it works, but there is one bracket that I know I have not hooked up correctly. It is the bar that will rotate with the header assembly. I'm sure it is designed to be held stationary and for the time being I have chained it in place but what is the correct attachment here? I can send pictures if it will help describe my problem.

Also, does anyone out there have manuals for this unit?

If it is a 1 row you need to disconnect both vertical 3 point lift rods from the horizontal 3 point lift arms on the tractor and conect the right adjustable one to the snout lift bracket on the picker, the main frame of the picker is carried on the rear axle brackets not on the 3 point hitch of the tractor.

I see manuals for Ford corn pickers come up on ebay about once or twice a month.

Can't help you with the mounting question. Sorry.
