good / cheap 3pt seeder / spreaders

Anyone got a line on small seeder spreader ( broadcast spreader).. light duty is ok. I don't need big.. something that can be toted by a 25hp tractor.. etc.

I had a cheapy from tsc for a long time.. but its been welded on and patched so much that it is on it's last legs.. seed gat broke today as well.... not much there to fix either...

I bought a Cosmo from the local farmers co-op. Most of their items are made by King Cutter. I like it. The old one I had, the bottom of the hopper had to rotate to open and close the setting. Rust got it. Every year no matter how much you washed and oiled, it would be stuck when you went back to use it.

This one has the distribution slots on the sides of the cone bottom and it works much better. Not prone to sticking.

My old one is similar with the sliding gate on the bottom.. and yes.. it rusts shut every year.. this year.. the tab the lever hooks to to open it.. broke off along with most of the gate.. leaving it at 3/4 open all the time.

It lasted fine for years just doing seed.. but then i started using it for fertalizer.. it has died in 3 years now.. oil or no oil..
