John Deere 1 bottom trailer plow

I work with a guy who wants to sell a John Deere 1 bottom trialer plow with steel wheels.
I thought what the heck how much you want for it. I thought it looked cute and I could play with it behind my farmall Cub's and farmall A. He said he was told it was worth $900.00 Is this true? I have a picture of it I need to scan but if anyone wants to see the picture please give me an email and I will send it to you. The trip mechanism works and it has a new plow share. The actual board looks like it has a few rust through spots. Can any one give me more info on this and all you JD guys is this thing really worth that?

I have 2 of them and I paid $200 for the one I bought 2 yrs ago.

No way. Sometimes it seems like everybody in the state has "heard" something they own is worth a fortune. It wears thin after a while. If you want one just look around a little more and you will find one for a lot less. I buy a lot of old implements and never saw a JD-1 for that kind of change.
