I am requesting a little help. My brother and father have both passed on. My brother bought a Marliss No Till Drill and never got to use it because of his illness. I have moved back to take over the business. I am unable to find a manuel on the drill. I have figured out how to set the depth I want, but I am unable to figure out how to set how many lbs of seed per acre I want to put in to the ground. Can someone please help me. Thank you.

If you don't find a chart or manual this idea may be of a help. My dad taught me on older drills that did not have a chart to set the opening in the seed box so two or three seeds can come out at the same time. Is not exact but a starting point. We usually get about what we want doing it that way.

If you send a pic. of the drill, your tractor, and you, we could possibly help ya out :) Seriously, I"d say contact the company, they should be able to get you a operators manual with the seeding rate somewhere in it. A search on Yahoo or Google should find the website of the Marliss Company. Good Luck

Yes there is a seed chart, I just don't know how to set the drill to what the seed chart says. I am doing wheat btw.

Marliss drills are made by Sukup Manufacturing now. Contact them for a manual. Shoup may be a source for some wear parts, but that"s about all.
