Did Massey make a model 477 Haybine? There is one in the buy and sell, but I have done some searches and do not show that model. It comes up as a NH. I want a NH 477 actually. But before I call the guy I wondered if there was anyone who knew of a 477 Massey Haybine, and if its decent model to own.

Stu, I am familiar with M-F 725 and 925 haybines. That model number is probably a New Holland, I doubt very much if Massey Ferguson would use a model number associated with another company. It is quite possible the seller has no idea and because it is red he figures its a Massey...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Went to see given that I really am looking for a NH 477. And it was one. Some welding needed, lots of rust on the knives, no hyd cylinder and the tractor pto attachemnt is missing. Its 1200$, and around here they never go for less than 2000$ complete. I hate to pay that high for a part of a machine but I really want a 7' and we have a NH dealer here. I bet I am going to buy the unit. I wil have follow up questions!
