Need model of an AC no-til planter 2 row with the oval plastic, seed hoppers, metal insecticide boxes, chain driven i think it was new in the early 70's. The only thing i have found is a tag on the hinge frame beside the seed hopper #575985 someone told dad there were 2 different SN for the planter.

I have a planter like yours. It is a model 600 and has no 71 planter units on it.

These planters had frame models and unit models.
I, like jhill, had a 600 frame with 71 units. however, my seed boxes were rectangular rather than round. Anyway you need to determine your frame and unit. I'm not an Allis man and I don't know the different models. I would suggest the AC board or talking to a dealer. A dealer should have pictures or other information so you can get the right books.
