Yep, just what I need, another combine. Oh well, it was real cheap, and though it looks ugly, everything works right except the reel on the grain platform. 2-row corn head is in great shape. Probably going to use the auger out of the 10" grain platform to replace the damaged one on the K2 10", and leave the corn head on the E and use it to shell +/- 2000 bushels a year.

Wanna save another one? in reply to Tim(nj), 11-21-2004 11:38:43
We're about to scrap my grandpas E. The engine is seized and it's been sitting in the yard for 10 years... Of course, Wisconsin is kinda far from New Jersey.

If you"re going to scrap it, would you be interested in selling some small parts off of it? Nothing I need is too big to go UPS. If the grain platform is still with it, I"d be interesed in the pitman and bellcrank assembly so I have a spare. I think instead of using the platform auger to fix my K2, I"m going to fix the reel on the E and rebuild the auger on the K2 so I have two running combines for beans, just in case. Thanks

I can look to see if the pitman is in good enough shape. The cutter head is on it and up in the air so it shouldn't be in too bad shape. I'll snap some pics and email them to you. The 2 row head is there as well. It'll be a few weeks until I'm back down there but I'm sure you're not in too much of a hurry at this point in the season.

I might be needing a few things. Especially if one of yours has a Scour-Kleen on it. Didn"t realize that mine has one until I went to get the corn head today. I know it"s going to need a back-beater slip clutch. They"ve got it so it runs without it, but I"d feel better if the clutch was on there. Hopefully the shaft is still good. I"ll be able to tell you more once the whole combine is home. I can"t get your e-mail address from the link. Here"s mine. haybaler@ptd.net Remove the . Thanks.

Tim you did good. Don't see many small combines here in SEMO anymore. I have the smallest SP around, a 35 Massey Harris. Don't use it just always wanted it. Happy combineing. Tom
