About 2 months ago there was a discussion about weather a 323, & 314 would match together. I saw one listed in a magazine for $1400 which also came with the husking bed detached, & sitting on jack stands. The sheller was mounted on the machine. Another mystery solved!

Doubt it in reply to Scotty, 09-30-2004 23:42:57
I saw that in Antique Power. I have a 323, and I have a 311 (almost same as a 324) with a 313 husking bed on it. As it is built now, it is a physical impossibility to put that bed (or the 314 sheller for that matter) on a 323. The 323 does not have the latches and prongs for a detachable bed. Everything is bolted to the frame. Drive couplings don"t match up, either. My guess is the guy has the numbers wrong on his machines or a lot of shop work was done to make it fit. I have brochures and manuals for the 323 and there is no mention in them of a sheller attachment being available from the factory.

Found the ad I saw in reply to Tim(nj), 10-01-2004 11:59:26
It is indeed in the latest Antique Power. If it"s the same one you saw, it"s in Michigan. Ad says 323 picker, but does not say 1 row anywhere. Says separate 314 sheller comes along with it, so the sheller isn"t on the machine. My guess is he has either misidentified his 324 or 325 2 row gathering unit as a 323, or he bought a 314 sheller unit assuming it would fit his 323, which it won"t.
