Has anyone used poly on their worn combine augers? is it any good? I am thinking about trying it on grain tank and unloading auger and loading auger on 4420 JD. due to auger flighting wear. do you think this would be a cheap way to fix or would I be better off just getting new augers? thanks for any info. jra50@myway.com

Reflighting them yourself is fairly easy and saves alot of money over buying new augers. We have several shops within 100 miles that roll flighting.

I don't think you could fasten it on good enough to take the pressure. The grain would tear it off. New augers arn't that high. There are several aftermarket suppliers. We have one here Schmidt Machine that ships most anywhere I have takes some 1/8 x 1 1/2 & built up the flighting but it's a lot of time to do it right
