Hello I own a McCormick 80 combine but the tin has rotten away so I can not restore it. But there are so many good parts left, so I can't put myself to scrap it. Because of this I am heavily looking for a McCormick 80 combine so I can use mine for parts (Since the parts are nearly impossible to find anyway) Does anyone know where I can get one in usable shape for less than $400 around the Oh,PA,MI area? I live 40 miles south of Cleveland,Oh. THANK YOU VERY MUCH and any information would be greatly appreciated

Have a 80 pull type in southern michigan near Ann Arbor that I would be willing to sell for $250. Ran wheat and soybeans last year. Some new belts and spare parts. Hydraulic lift head. Send an e-mail address and I"ll send pics.

I have one. Always been sheded. Good paint, no rust, 2 new belts, new haydraulic lift cylinder with hoses. Used it on wheat and soybeans this year. Southern Indiana.

You might have already done this, but try running a want ad in some of the local papers (particularly any that might serve more rural areas). I did this when looking for a haybine and found a good one for about half of what I would have paid at an auction. Also, don't put in the price you are willing to pay, however, as all of the combines will cost $400!

I concur, put an add in the Salem Ohio based "Farm and Dairy" paper. Worked great for me.
