I was thinking about trying to fix up an old two row JD cotton stripper and I was wondering if anyone else knows of one out there that someone else has restored and if I can get a set of decals for it. Thanks

Hello Aggie Farmer,

You may want to try B & M Tractor Parts in Taylor or Gap Tractor Salvage in Cranfills Gap. Where abouts are you located at?

I have done buisness with Cranfills Gap before and I can probably guess they don't have it. I have never checked with this place down at Taylor. All I am really interested in is to find if someone out there might make reproduction decals. I don't need any extra parts because I have 2 already and what I don't have, I could just go scavenge from one of the many out in the country. I am north of Hillsboro, where are you located at?

If your only looking for decals, there is a company listed in the forums on this site. Sorry, but I don't know the name of it off hand. I am living in Clovis NM right now. My father is still living on the farm Northeast of Waco, and about 20 miles South,Southeast of Hillsborro. Was planning on returning to live there again in a couple of years, but the way things are going, I'll most likely be commuting back and forth from Clovis. Spend a few weeks/months there, and then spend a few here.

later days mate,
Jim

What community is your fathers farm by? I am working in that area as well as the rest of Hill and Mc Lennan county as a cotton scout. I spent all day today checking cotton in Malone, Irene, and Pelham.
